She was not actually working, however. She was mostly just wandering the store and trying to decide if there was anything she could claim store use on and take to the sleepover.

Given the fact that his father was around, K-Mart had handwavily called Sean and told him to keep his ass home, that she'd cover work for him today. Sean, not being an idiot, had promptly agreed.

It was a lazy, laid back day for K-Mart. She had her laptop with her, set up behind one of the registers, and was poking away at it whenever there weren't customers.

Her activities? That damn cafe game. Well, that and writing an e-mail to Savannah and Johnny.

The Now Hiring! sign was still up in the window.

Lindsay was practically forced to get a job. When her dad found out there was a sporting goods store in town, he told her to try to get hired. So she did.
